Position
Summary:
Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Adheres to standards of nursing practice of McLaren Regional Medical Center, which consists of systematic approach to nursing practice by using nursing process.
Assesses and documents patient s status on admission and continuously thereafter.
Develops written plan of care, including long and short range goals and nursing actions
Qualifications - External
_Required:_
2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
Certification/ registration to practice nursing in State of Michigan.
NRP certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
Complete the Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course and pass the test in accordance with AWHONN standards within 12 months of transfer or hire.

Minimum 2 years LDRP experience preferred.
