Position
Summary:
Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Responsible to see that nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Maintains operational responsibility for nursing and health care services on the unit.
Promotes positive customer relations with physicians, patients, families, visitors and employees. Follows up on complaints and provides feedback. Monitors level of patient, staff and physician satisfaction.
Promotes collaboration regarding patient care issues with various staff levels and disciplines. In collaboration with other members of the leadership team and Nursing Educators, ensures staff participation in orientation, mandatory and continuing education programs and other staff development opportunities.
Qualifications - External
_Required:_
2 years of related formal education/training from an accredited School of Nursing.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
_Preferred: _
6 months to 1 year of job related experience.
ONC Certification
Telemetry knowledge/education and experience
Pay: From $38.13 per hour
