Summary:
Under the supervision of our Building Director and/or onsite Leader, our meticulous and results oriented Maintenance Technician is able to operate independently and professionally, in order to support our patient care team in providing patient care second to none! This role provides support to our Plant Operations team, taking an active part in preventative safety measures, identifying building deficits, and supporting other established standards to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout the building and campus.
This person will be working within a team and supporting unique projects, therefore communication strengths are preferred in the ideal candidate, along with specific strengths in HVAC maintenance.

Duties:
Provides general maintenance and repair services on Building equipment as requested Assures the operation and proper maintenance is provided for the facility on systems such as HVAC, electrical, water, and generators Ensures electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic systems of buildings are full functioning and monitored to ensure full functionality Applies problem solving skills to locate source of problem by observing mechanical equipment in operation Troubleshoots situations and pieces of equipment while communicating results and updating supervisor in a timely manner Maintains a safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Ensures that proper documentation is kept at all times for any type of service Performs preventative cleaning and maintenance as necessary Ensures health and safety policies are complied with at all times Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Qualifications:
Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.
S.
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required; Degree from a vocational school is preferred HVAC knowledge and experience desired; certification in HVAC required Valid Driver's License; Ability to drive to other locations as needed Previous experience is preferred, especially within a Healthcare environment Experience in maintenance operations Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
Proven excellence in patient safety and care Friendly, empathetic & respectful Reliable in work results, timeliness & attendance Ability to relate to and work effectively with a wonderfully diverse populace Able to work in a fast-paced, and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy Able to work under pressure and in situations that benefit from patience, tact, stamina and endurance Detailed oriented, conscientious and committed to precision in work results Committed to contributing to a positive environment, even in rapidly changing circumstances.
