Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a wide variety of CNC Lathes that are either bar feed or chuckers.
Lathe variations also include multi-spindle, multi-turret, and milling lathes.
Writing programs, editing programs, and troubleshooting machine problems as needed.
During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications.
Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must pay attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.
Qualifications:
Ability to use Calipers OD / ID Micrometers Knows decimals / common math skills Able to lift 50lbs Dependability Common machining tooling Ability to check parts to print specifications Desirable:
3-5 years of machining experience minimum Ability to read and interpret blueprints Programming ability on multiple turret/spindle Okuma lathes CNC - Certifications Lathe occupational training 5-S Lean Manufacturing SMED studies Job Type:
