Summary:
The social worker will provide support and assistance to individuals, families, and communities in need.

Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs and develop a plan of action.
2.
Provide counseling and support to individuals and families in need.
3.
Coordinate services and resources to meet client needs.
4.
Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of the community.
5.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers, educators, and legal professionals, to develop comprehensive plans.
6.
Monitor and evaluate progress towards goals and adjust plans as necessary.
7.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
8.
Advocate for clients and communities, including lobbying for policy changes to improve access to resources and services.
9.
Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices and new research.
Requirements:
1.
Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
2.
State licensure or certification as required by law.
3.
Knowledge of social work theory, methods, and practices.
4.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and community members.
5.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
8.
Familiarity with community resources and service providers.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, if necessary.
Physical Demands:
The social worker may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel to client locations.
Work Environment:
The social worker will work in a variety of settings, including office environments, community centers, hospitals, and client homes.
They may be exposed to challenging and emotionally charged situations.
This is not a full time but contracted travel position.
