We offer an energetic work atmosphere with warehousing and production capabilities serving companies across the midwest.
We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials for our organization.
This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure that materials are available when needed, as well as monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that all materials are of the highest quality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain records of inventory and materials transactions.
Analyze data to identify cost savings opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Schedule all outgoing shipments.
Conduct cycle counts Make sure material is acaialble for production schedules Inspect ingoing and outgoing shipments Manage the dock area Process necessary paperwork Job Type:
