Floating Customer Service Representative
Opportunity
Join our client, a well-established and growing durable medical equipment company, as a Floating Customer Service Representative. Candidates should be interested in working full-time, traveling as needed (including overnight trips), have a clean driving record and be quick learners.
Responsibilities
-Answer claims questions, process orders, maintain and update patient information in the computers system
-Answer phones and assist patients, physicians and referral sources in a front desk environment
-Verify insurance and bill for patient services
-Travel to multiple company locations as needed to offer support. This may occasionally include staying out of town for trips with meal and accommodations provided.
Qualifications
-Clean driving record; reliable transportation and flexible schedule
-Demonstrated ability to multi-task while remaining extremely organized
-A college degree or equivalent combination of certification and experience
-At least one year of customer service experience
-Previous experience working in a medical office or hospital is desired
-Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification and/or billing/coding is a bonus

This is a full-time position with the opportunity for contact extension or direct-hire based on performance. Pay for this position is $12-14 hourly; based on candidate experience. Position does include payment for mileage if traveling beyond base-office as well as payment for expenses for overnight trips.
